Acoustic Cloning
收藏资源简介:
This repository contains the 2D acoustic waveform data connected to the article "Acoustic cloning" by Müller et al., 2023. It forms part of the research output for SNF project 197182: "Immersive experimentation for realizing metamaterials, focusing functions and space-time transformations – Exploring metamaterial applications of IBCs and time-materials for computing focusing functions" (PIs: van Manen and Serra-Garcia). The annotated data is stored in the netcdf4 format, exported to the netcdf format in Python using .to_netcdf functionality from xarray. There are four netcdf files (*.nc), each containing the data related to one of the four main experiments described in the article: Homo.nc: Input waveforms and retrieved Green's Functions for the homogeneous waveguide experiment (i.e., without any scatterer)Circ.nc: Input waveforms and retrieved Green's Functions for the waveguide experiment containing the circular scattererSquare.nc: Input waveforms and retrieved Green's Functions for the waveguide experiment containing the circular scattererCross.nc: Input waveforms and retrieved Green's Functions for the waveguide experiment containing the plus-shaped scatterer Both the MDD input data, recorded on the inner and outer surface for a circular range of insonifying sources, as well as the MDD-retrieved Green's functions, connecting all points on the inner and outer recording surface with a finite latency are included. The retrieved GFs constitute a comprehensive scatterer characterization for radiation conditions (i.e., as if the scatterers were characterized in free space). Note that Circ.nc, Square.nc, and Cross.nc still include the incident wavefield. The scattered response can be isolated by subtracting the GFs for the homogeneous experiment, which contains the incident waves only. This data repository was prepared by Jonas Müller.
