Viral isolates from managed and un-managed Apis mellifera adults

Apis mellifera adults were collected in Fall of 2019 in New York and Pennsylvania, USA. Unmanaged foragers were collected from within the Arnot Forest in NY, while foragers from managed colonies were collected from hive entrances in NY and PA. Virus purifications were created from whole bodies of individual bees and subjected to RNA-sequencing. 10/28 samples had sufficient viral levels to construct deformed wing virus (DWV) genomes: 3-G, 6-H, 7-A, 7-E, 9-2-D, 9-2-G, 10-1-D, 12-2-C, 13-1-E, 13-1-F
