ZüriACT barrier-free mobility

As part of the pilot project "ZüriACT" led by Dr. Hoda Allahbashki and François Rüttimann (Züri Accessible CiTy) the University of Zurich - in cooperation with the City of Zurich - has researched new methods to facilitate the mobility of people with reduced mobility (elderly people with age-related gait disorders, people with reduced mobility such as wheelchair users, mothers or fathers with prams, heavily loaded passers-by, etc.). Thanks to the participation of different population groups, based on image-based digital tools, over 9'000 point data were collected in district 1, which either make it difficult, impossible or vice versa easier to navigate the footpath of these population groups. **Purpose**: For the time being, these data were collected for research purposes as part of a pilot project, which is limited to Stadtzürcher Kreis 1. Thanks to the experience gained, further methods and/or procedures are to be studied, which should enable barrier-free mobility and navigation on a larger scale in the future.由霍达·阿拉巴什基（Hoda Allahbashki）博士与弗朗索瓦·吕蒂曼（François Rüttimann）牵头的「ZüriACT」（苏黎世无障碍城市，Züri Accessible CiTy）试点项目中，苏黎世大学与苏黎世市携手合作，针对行动不便人群的出行需求展开了新方法研究，此类人群包括存在年龄相关性步态障碍的老年人、轮椅使用者等行动不便者、推行婴儿车的父母以及负重行人等。得益于不同群体的参与，研究团队基于图像类数字化工具，在苏黎世市第1区收集了超过9000个点位数据，这些数据可用于评估该类人群在人行步道通行时的难易程度，涵盖通行受阻、无法通行，或是通行顺畅的各类场景。 **研究目标**：目前，本数据集作为仅覆盖苏黎世市第1区的试点项目的一部分，仅用于科研用途。依托本次试点积累的实践经验，后续将研究更多方法与流程，以期未来能够在更大范围内实现无障碍出行与导航。
