VPRS 17571 Executive Office Subject and Correspondence Files

This series comprises the Subject and Correspondence Files from the Executive Office at The Royal Women's Hospital. This administrative unit has included the following functions: Strategy and Planning; Corporate Counsel; Communications and Fundraising; Service Development; Board Secretary and Executive Office Management. The files are both project and administrative function based, reflecting the diverse areas of activity in this large umbrella department.Most of the subject files within this system were of a temporary operational nature and have been expunged. This collection of files includes projects, activities and records which are of historical significance to the hospital.The first consignment of this series consists of subject files that include minutes of meetings for The Royal Women's Hospital Foundation Board of Directors (titled Foundation) and the executive level Governance and Risk Committee. These files fill many of the gaps in the official sequences of minutes of both these committees (the Foundation Board back to its inception in 1997 during the Network period).
