<i>Vibrio </i>sp. nov. C8 CAZome

We report the draft genome sequence, and associated CAZyme annotations, for a novel species of the genus Vibrio, isolated from the marine macroalga Codium fragile. This work was part of a project looking for glycoside hydrolases with potential for biological control applications, but the broader CAZome of Vibrio sp. nov. C8 represents a resource for studying marine polysaccharide degradation and biosynthesis, and exploring other biotechnological applications.
