ANTIORI_FECAL: Antimicrobial oral rinse impacts the gut microflora by reducing diversity

In consideration of the proven effectiveness of essential oils in the eradication of some species that make up the oral microbiota and of their possible translocation that can be achieved through the digestive tract during use if diluted in mouthwashes, this study aims to evaluate changes in the composition of the oral and gastro-intestinal microbiota induced by the use of mouthwashes based on essential oils.
