Microbiome study of maize plants under optimal and limited watering

This study intended to shed light onto the conformation of the bacterial and fungal assemblages of bulk soil, rhizosphere, roots, leaves and grains of maize plants grown in an open field along three time points of crop cycle. Moreover, we studied the effect of water restriction on the maize microbiome by applying a 30% reduction regarding optimal irrigation requirements.
