Russian venture capital investment abroad in H1 2019, by stage

The highest value of venture capital invested by Russian funds on foreign projects from January to June 2019, was allocated for projects that were at the expansion stage of development, meaning that they already had a product placed on the market, for which a high growth of sales and demand was observed. For such companies, the value amounted to approximately 378 million U.S. dollars, which was nearly 11 times the investment in creations at the seed stage, which only had a concept of a product in mind.
