This copy of Ḥasan Ghaznawî’ṣ dîwân begins with a prose preface, which is entirely different from that in No. 931. It begins, on fol. 245<sup>b</sup>: اوصاف بزرگوارى و فضيلت سخنگذارئ او اظهر من الشمس است الخ. On fol. 248<sup>a</sup> margin, the date of Ḥasan’s death is correctly fixed in A.H. 565. Beginning of the dîwân itself, on fol. 249<sup>b</sup>, the same as in the preceding copies. No date. No. 609, ff. 245<sup>b</sup>-304, 2 coll., each ll. 13-15, and a third on the margin, ll. 24-28; Nasta’lîḳ; two illuminated frontispieces on ff. 245<sup>b</sup> and 249<sup>b</sup>; the first two pages both of preface and dîwân splendidly adorned; size, 9¾ in. by 5½ in.
