Patterns of genetic differentiation and hybridization between yellowhammers (Emberiza citrinella) and pine buntings (Emberiza leucocephalos)

Genotyping-by-sequencing of two Palearctic buntings species-the yellowhammer (Emberiza citrinella) and pine bunting (Emberiza leucocephalos)-and their hybrids. These sequence data was obtained for the purpose of investigating patterns of genetic differentiation and hybridization between yellowhammers and pine buntings and assessing the degree of reproductive isolation between them. Sequence libraries were prepared by Ellen Nikelski and analyzed in collaboration with Alexander Rubtsov and Darren Irwin.
