Argos drifters were deployed in the Gulf of Alaska to assess current regimes. Yearly average and monthly surface circulation and velocity maps were created using monthly temperature and salinity observations. The maps beginning January 2002 are available on the web. Deposited content: descriptive metadata only; underlying research data are not included.
