NRS-20879 | Clarence Coast Reserve Trust & Pristine Waters Reserve Trust Committee Meeting Minutes [Clarence Valley Council]

The Clarence Coast Reserve Trust and the Pristine Waters Reserve Trust were transferred to Clarence Valley Council on the 24th of February 2004. Committee meetings were irregular but occurred once a month. Meeting minutes recorded the discussion of items specific to the management of Crown Land situated in the newly formed Council area such as Plans of Management, financial and progress reports of work programs etc. Also included were submissions regarding the use of vehicles on beaches, road closures, upgrade of boat ramps and other facilities. In June 2005 a meeting of both trusts saw the joining of the two trusts. This meeting also included the decision to transfer the responsibility for the Corindi-Red Rock Crown reserves to the Coffs Harbour City Council as the formation of the Clarence Valley Council did not automatically result in the transfer of reserves in this area to Coffs Harbour City Council under the Crown Lands Act 1989.
