Wildlife Camera Trap Detection Dataset

This dataset contains the full, verified camera-trap record used in the study “Camera-trap assessment of wildlife use of small bridges and trail corridors in a forested floodplain.” The Excel file includes all hand-entered observations extracted from time-stamped camera trap images and videos collected between 2020–2025. Each row represents an independent wildlife detection following a 10-minute independence rule. Variables include site type (bridge or corridor), station ID, species, date, time, month, and year. Additional calculated fields provide species richness metrics, relative frequency (use rate), seasonal activity summaries, and bridge-to-corridor comparisons used in the manuscript’s analyses. All data have been cross-checked for accuracy, non-overlapping detections, and complete sampling effort documentation.
