GTWF Database of U.S. Geotechnical Faculty, 2022 (Geotechnical Women Faculty Project)

In 2016 the GTWF project built a national database of geotechnical faculty: first by gathering
names of geotechnical faculty whose articles appeared in The Journal of Geotechnical and Geoenvironmental
Engineering, and later expanding to web searches of universities with geotechnical programs and manual review
of Civil Engineering department websites. The database was updated (faculty rank and institution verified) in 2018 and again in 2022--presented here is the most current version (current as of March 2022). Only faculty who are tenure or tenure-track at a U.S. based institution are included.

Data is made available to the community for discussion, consultation, and as a means of self-reflection on gender parity within the field.
