Sl-AGL11 was ectopically expressed in Solanum lycopersicon (micro-tom), which led to the conversion of sepals into fleshy tissue and major modifications of fruit structure consisting notably of an extreme softening. The study aimed at comparing young (10DPA) fruits and sepals in WT and Sl-AGL11 overexpressing background.
