Te Ara O Wairākei Stormwater Reserve
收藏资源简介:
Te Ara O Wairākei is a shared walking and cycling pathway that follows the Wairākei Stream through a stormwater reserve in Pāpāmoa, Tauranga. The reserve provides recreational opportunities for local residents while also performing an environmental function by managing stormwater and reducing flood risk within the surrounding urban area. The aim of this project was to assess how well a section of Te Ara O Wairākei functions as a recreational corridor by assessing the distribution of amenities, access points, points of interest and overall user experience. The study focused on the section of pathway between Domain Road and Longview Drive. Data were collected using Survey123 and analysed using ArcGIS Online. The project combines field observations with spatial data to better understand how people experience and interact with this important community space.
