Temperature, salinity, nutrients, and other data were collected from bottle and CTD casts from the POSEYDON and other platforms. Data were collected from a world-wide distribution from from 27 February 1958 to 28 February 1991. Data include temperature, salinity, and pH profiles. Nutrients data include concentration profiles of phosphate, total phosphate, silicate, nitrate, nitrite, and ammonia. Additional funding for digitizing historic data were provided by the Global Ocean Data Archaeology and Rescue (GODAR) project.
