Southwest China occupies large amount of total water resources and 71 percent of the hydropower exploitation amount. Therefore, we selected two reservoirs in Soucewest China which have significant difference in nutrient and heavy metal pollution status as our study area. With the aim to investigate quantitative chemoautotrophic carbon fixation rate and the fate of the fixed carbon in reservoir sediment, microbial community structure of chemolithotrophs and its biomarker genera and enviroment-microbe interactions with a focus on the influences by nutrient and heavy metal.
