This sample was connected as part of a research-based undergraduate biology course at UNC Chapel Hill. The goal of this study was to identify mislabeling in swordfish being sold in grocery stores across the state of North Carolina. With seafood mislabeling becoming a growing problem, this study is relevant to all consumers of swordfish and other seafood alike.
