This dataset contains 3 large-scale two-photon calcium imaging recordings from across multiple mouse visual cortical areas (layer 2/3) in response to rotated naturalistic images. The dataset is organized into 5 main folders.<b>stimuli</b><i>stim_05-08-23.mat</i>: File used for stimulus presentation.<code>img</code>: 2760 images (92 objects × 15 orientations × 2 views) at resolution 300 × 1200 pixels.<code>db</code>: Names of the 2760 images (suffix <code>_left</code> or <code>_front</code>).<code>istim</code>: 10,200 integers (1–2760) indicating which image was shown on each trial.<b>retinotopy</b><i>areas.npz</i>: Standard mouse area boundaries used for aligning retinotopies.<code>out</code>: 10 entries, each describing the boundary points of mouse visual cortical areas.Areas of interest: PM (entry 1), AM (2), RL (4), LM (6), AL (7), LI (8), V1 (9).Additional files: Retinotopy data for the 3 recorded mice. Each has the following information.<code>xy_pos</code>: Spatial position of each recorded neuron.<code>rf_xy_pos</code>: Estimated receptive field (RF) position.<code>area_assign</code>: Integer index of the cortical area assignment.<code>rf_cc_max</code>: Pearson correlation between recorded and RF-fitted responses.<b>05_18_2023, 05_30_2023, 05_31_2023</b>Each folder contains a single <code>.npz</code> file with Suite2p pre-processed calcium imaging data, which include the following variables.Behavioral: <code>run</code>, <code>pupil </code>(spherical treadmill)Stimulus: <code>istim</code><code> </code>(stimulus index)Recording: <code>iplane</code><code> </code>(top or bottom imaging plane)Neuronal responses: <code>spks</code> (deconvolved activity), <code>xpos</code> (x-position in imaging plane), <code>ypos</code> (y-position in imaging plane), <code>uspont</code> (spontaneous PCs), <code>mu</code> (mean activity during prolonged gray screens), <code>sd</code> (standard deviation during prolonged gray screens).
