In this study, DNA metabarcoding technique was used to identify the multi-species components of Renshen Jianpi Wan. Amplification of the ITS2/psbA-trnH barcode region and high-throughput sequencing using the Illumina MiSeq platform are designed to: identify plant components in pharmaceutical products; 2) To evaluate the application potential of macro barcode technology in the quality control of proprietary Chinese medicines.
