In this study we investigate the first stages of Salmonella Typhimurium infection under hypoxia conditions We found that low oxygen levels significantly decrease the bacterium's adhesion level. However, a high-binding phenotype of type 1 fimbriae can compensate for this deficiency. The study also identified a cross-talk between T1F and flagella expression in low-oxygen conditions, suggesting that altered flagellin expression levels may affect the bacterium's motility.There are tabel of differential gene expression of Salmonella Typhimurium WT and Salmonella Typhimurium fimh knock-out grown in hypoxia and normoxia conditions.RAW sequencing files were deposited in SRA database under accesion number SRP428426;
