NHMO Amphibian and Reptile collection

The NHMO Amphibian and reptile Collection of the Natural History Museum contains around 3,300 objects, including 6 holotypes, 3 paratypes and 5 other types. The collection was largely built through expeditions and exchanges with other institutions in the last parts of the 19th century and into the first decades of the 20th century, with more limited additions in the latter 100 years.
