Internal density reorganization influences lutocline formation and acoustic response during post-disturbance settling in sand–mud suspensions

The datasets correspond to two experiments conducted in a sedimentation column. They include calibration relationships for both depth and density. Depth calibration was established by comparing CTD measurements with pressure sensor data from the densimeter, while density calibration was obtained through the relationship between analytical samples and densimeter measurements.

In addition, the datasets present the relationship between the lutocline and the second density gradient within the vertical profiles. These comparisons incorporate depth measurements from the densimeter and dual-frequency echosounders, as well as the corresponding density gradients.
