NRS-7972 | Indexes to copies of letters sent to other departments [Ministerial (Inspectors) Branch, Department of Lands]

Each entry in these indexes gives the registration number of papers, the subject or summary of the letter's content, the date of the letter, the folio number for the volume in which the letter is found, and the number of the volume. There is an index to the various departments in front of each volume. A note in the front of the third volume states that "after 13 March 1922, press copy books went out of use in Lands Department, and subsequently copies of letters were placed in either Temporary or Permanent File. The letter 'T' in 'Vol' column denotes that a copy of a letter was placed in Temporary File". (3/6612-14). 3 vols.
