The product resulting from millicomposting is gongolo humus, which we also call millicompost, as it is produced from the degradation of plant residues processed by gongolos (diplopods). The excellent results provided by millicompost in the production of vegetable and ornamental seedlings allowed us to conclude that it is not only the contribution of physical, physical-chemical and chemical aspects, but also the biological influence of this organic substrate on vegetables, never before studied in the world. Thus, the objective of this work focused on the characterization of the bacterial microbiome during the complete millicomposting process from agricultural and urban waste using high-throughput sequencing and bioinformatics tools.
