Genus Pseudooceanicola Genome sequencing and assembly. Pseudooceanicola

Cells of genus Pseudooceanicola are aerobic or facultatively anaerobic, Gramnegative, rod shaped, non-motile, positive for oxidase and catalase (or weakly positive) but negative for hydrolysis of casein, gelatin and starch. The respiratory quinone is Q-10. The G+C content of the chromosomal DNA is 62–73 mol%. This project was used for calculating ANI value and the G+C content of whole genome in new microbial species polyphasic characterization.
