资源简介:

# 1-km Resolution Species Distribution Models for 1,657 Chinese Freshwater Fish Species **Version:** 1.0 **Date:** 2025-06-12 **DOI:** [https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.15644992](https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.15644992) **Contact:** Dekui He (hedekui@ihb.ac.cn) **Address** Institute of Hydrobiology, Chinese Academy of Sciences ## Overview This dataset contains spatial predictions of freshwater fish species distributions across China, developed using two standardized species distribution modeling (SDM) approaches. The SDMs support national-scale conservation gap analysis and biodiversity planning. The modeling framework follows the methods established by **Tao et al. (2023)**, ensuring consistency in variable selection, resolution, and spatial strategy. All models were generated at a **1-km spatial resolution** and aligned with China's national freshwater river network. ## Contents - **3314 GeoTIFF (.tif) raster files (3.86G)**, representing: - 1,657 species modeled using the **basin-clipping ("loose") method** - 1,657 species modeled using the **point-buffering ("strict") method**- `species_list.csv`: Metadata for each species (scientific name, family)- `example_visualization.R`: Example R script to load and visualize raster layers ## File Naming Convention Each raster file is named using the scientific name of the species: **Examples:**- `Acipenser_sinensis.tif` Files from each modeling method are stored separately under the `loose/` and `strict/` directories. ## Usage Notes - Raster files are in WGS84 geographic coordinate system (EPSG:4326), with 1-km spatial resolution.- Users can read these layers in any GIS software (e.g., QGIS, ArcGIS) or load them programmatically in R or Python. ## Citation If you use this dataset, please cite: - Chen, J., Ding, L., He, D.
