Data, Code, and Materials for "Fixed-Trajectory Component-Level Audits of Counselor and Synthetic-Client AI in Japanese Counseling Simulations: Evaluation Study"

This upload provides the public data, code, and materials accompanying the manuscript "Evaluating AI-Generated Counseling Dialogues With Synthetic Clients: A Response-Rendering Audit in Japanese Motivational Interviewing Simulations." The release contains a snapshot of the self-play simulation package, model settings, prompt templates, fictional client-condition definitions, phase-slot definitions, the Statistical Analysis Plan (SAP v3.7), analysis scripts, generated Japanese counseling scripts, script correspondence tables, anonymized rater-level analysis datasets, package-version records, execution logs, result tables, codebook documentation, and license information. The 60 Japanese CSV files under data/counseling_scripts/scripts/ are the authoritative rating materials. The English transcript rendering is included only as a nonauthoritative reference aid and was not rated. The study used fictional synthetic-client materials and coauthor research-personnel ratings. This release excludes API keys, .env files, private source-file links, direct evaluator-name mappings, internal source workbooks, audio/TTS cache files, and local run logs.
