Flavobacterium sp. T-12 Genome sequencing and assembly

An orange, Gram-negative staining, non-motile, rod-shaped strain, designated as T-12T was isolated from water samples collected from Atlantic salmon (Salmo salar) fry culturing system in a fish farm in Chile. Phylogenetic analysis based on 16S rRNA sequences showed that strain T-12T belonged to the genus Flavobacterium and was closely related to Flavobacterium bernardetii F-372T (MW417108 -IP: 99.47%)
