Metagenomic comparison of gut communities between hawksbills and green turtles

Hawksbills and green turtles have been already vulnerable species, so it is imperative to explore these factors affecting health of sea turtles. The gut microbiota is closely linked to host nutrition, immunity and health. In the study metagenomic analysis was used to reveal taxonomic and functional diversity of gut communities from the hawksbills and green sea turtles.
