This dataset contains the key numerical model results from the study "Synergistic Coastal Resilience: Optimizing Storm Surge Barriers and Adaptive Shoreline Defenses for Macao Under Sea-Level Rise."
The dataset is organized into three main components, which were critical for validating the model's accuracy against real-world measurements:
1. Modeled_storm_tide_used_for_Figure_5_validation: Time-series data of water levels (combining tide and storm surge) at four tidal gauge stations in the Pearl River Estuary.
2. Modeled_significant_wave_height_used_for_Figure_6_validation: Time-series data of significant wave height at a buoy location in the estuary.
3. Modeled_inundation_depth_used_for_Figure_7_validation: Spatial data of flood depths across the Macao Peninsula at specific survey points.
