The diversity of pea plant germplasm is vital for breeding programs to select high-yielding varieties resistant to Bruchid damage. The research established a link between the damage caused by weevils and specific phenological and morphological traits, and it identified lines resistant to <i>Bruchus pisorum</i>. These lines could serve as sources of resistance in future breeding programs.
