Smartphone as a percentage of total connections MENA 2019-2025, by region

Among the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries had the highest adoption rate of smartphones of 79 percent in 2019, and was forecasted to reach around 91 percent in 2025. Mobile data consumption in the MENA region was expected to increase by more than fivefold by 2025.
