A long-read and short-read transcriptomics approach provides the first high-quality reference transcriptome and genome annotation for Pseudotsuga menziesii (Douglas-fir)

Long read sequencing of RNA from Douglas-fir needles to predict transcripts, transcription factors and long non-coding RNA. Reference transcriptome generated was used to improve exisiting genome annotation.
