Microbial communities under different cropping systems in Northeast China

An eleven-year field experiment was conducted to evaluate the temporal variations in soil bacterial and fungal communities over an entire crop rotation cycle (from 2020 to 2022), as well as those of the base soil before the experiment in 2012, under three cropping systems (annually rotated soybean-maize-soybean (SMS) and maize-maize-soybean (MMS), and continuous soybean (CS)) in a Mollisol of Northeast China.
