RNA-seq analysis of the response to cold acclimation in jojoba leaves

Jojoba (Simmondsia chinensis) is an emerging industrial oil crop cultivated in arid land in tropical region. Jojoba is sensitive to cold stress, which hinder the introduction and domestication of this crop in temperate arid areas. Here, the effects of cold acclimation on photosynthesis, physiological and biochemical parameters and gene expression in jojoba leaves were analyzed by using combined physiological methods and transcriptomic sequencing technology.
