The Soil Moisture Active Passive Validation Experiment in the boreal forest (SMAPVEX22-Boreal) took place near Candle Lake, Saskatchewan and focuses on data collected within a single Soil Moisture Active Passive (SMAP) radiometer footprint, covering an area of approximately 30 x 30 km2. The SMAPVEX22-Boreal field experiment focused on accurately representing both soils and vegetation of the region based on comprehensive sampling campaigns. Numerous datasets were collected from sampling campaigns and through the installation of in situ networks. The current version contains network hourly soil moisture and tree real dielectric constant (RDC) data from May to October, 2022. Additional datasets will be added in the future as they become available.
北方森林土壤湿度主动被动验证试验(SMAPVEX22-Boreal)开展于加拿大萨斯喀彻温省坎德尔湖周边区域,其研究聚焦于单台土壤湿度主动被动(Soil Moisture Active Passive,缩写SMAP)辐射计的视场范围内采集的数据,覆盖面积约30×30平方千米。本野外试验通过系统性采样工作,精准表征该区域的土壤与植被特征。研究团队通过采样活动与原位监测网络的布设,获取了多类数据集。当前版本包含2022年5月至10月的原位网络逐小时土壤湿度数据与树木真实介电常数(Real Dielectric Constant,缩写RDC)数据。后续将根据数据可得性,陆续补充发布更多可用数据集。
