GlobCover数据集是根据UNLCCS分类标准，综合采用监督分类和非监督分类两种方法对多时相的MERISL1B数据进行分类而得到的。数据集精度验证采用专家网络和样本抽取两种方式进行，针对混合像元在考虑优势准则和随机分类两种情况的整体精度分别为：58.0%和70.7%。
The GlobCover dataset is developed by classifying multi-temporal MERIS L1B data using both supervised and unsupervised classification methods in accordance with the UNLCCS classification standard. The accuracy validation of the dataset was conducted via two approaches: expert network evaluation and sample extraction. For mixed pixels, the overall accuracies under the dominance criterion and random classification scenarios are 58.0% and 70.7%, respectively.
