资源简介:
High-speed railways worldwide are vulnerable to Foreign Object Damage (FOD) from rolled-up stones. The wheel is crucial for ensuring the safe operation of high-speed trains, and any defects exceeding standards pose a risk of catastrophic accidents. FOD, particularly in China where train speeds are increasing and conditions are becoming more complex, is a significant safety issue that impacts operations. It leads to surface pits on wheels, compromising their integrity and creating intricate residual stress fields. The influence of residual stresses on fatigue performance has not been thoroughly studied, particularly in terms of their evolution during fatigue. This study utilizes a compressed-gas gun device to simulate FOD impacts and investigates residual stress fields on high-speed train wheels under FOD and its evolution during fatigue using synchrotron X-ray diffraction. The research aims to develop safety assessment methods for critical components such as high-speed train wheel.
