This series consists of minutes and agendas for the meetings of the Interim Council of the Riverina College of Advanced Education (RCAE). The Interim Council was the controlling body of the College, and as such, fostered the development and direction of the College in its formative years from 1969-1972.The minutes and agendas (which also included the attachments for the meetings) are all typed and arranged in chronological order. For each meeting the minutes are first, followed by the agenda and the attachments.The minutes, which have been signed by the chairperson at each meeting, document the decisions and resolutions made by the Interim Council. The following information is contained in the minutes; the date, place and time of the meeting; those people present at the meeting; apologies from people not able to attend; information and resolutions referred to the Interim Council for approval from the constituent committees of Council; resolutions passed by the Interim Council itself; any correspondence tabled at the meeting; any general business arising; and the date, place and time of the next meeting.The agendas outlined the format that the meetings followed and the matters that were to be addressed. This includes the attachments which gave members attending the meeting extra information pertaining to the topics for discussion on the agenda. Both the agendas and attachments were circulated prior to the meetings.
