Croatian academic librarians' perspectives on misinformation and disinformation

The research was conducted as part of an international research initiative coordinated by researchers Laura Saunders (USA) and Joumana Boustany (France). The Croatian team was responsible for carrying out the national study using a questionnaire developed by the initiative's international consortium. The questionnaire included both closed and open-ended questions, focusing on librarians' teaching practices, their approach to topics related to misinformation and disinformation, and collaboration with teaching staff. Data were collected anonymously with the participants' consent. The study was conducted from March to April 2024, with the participation of 93 higher education librarians.
