Data and code used in the publication: Proof-of-work versus proof-of-stake coins as possible hedges against green and dirty energy

The file consists of the articles' data and the R code to replicate the plots and tables. The subfolder "data" consists of three files: dirty.rds, clean.rds and energy.rds. The first one, dirty.rds, is the file with the time series of Bitecoin, Litecoin, Ethereum, Ethereum Classic and Bitcoin Cash. In the second one, there are time series of XRP, Nano, Stellar, IOTA and Cardano. The third one stores time series of Brent, and CEGE - which is the CELS index used in the study. The data cover the period from 22.01.2019 to 22.02.2023, but only a subset of them (until 15.09.2022) is used in the study.
