资源简介:
This dataset contains experimental measurements of head (h) and discharge (Q) obtained from laboratory tests conducted on rectangular sharp-crested weirs under fixed-bed sedimentation conditions.
The dataset includes different combinations of weir height (P) and sediment thickness (Z), from which the Effective Weir Height (Pe) is defined as Pe = P − Z.
The main hypothesis of the associated study is that Pe can act as an integrative hydraulic parameter that captures the combined influence of weir geometry and upstream sediment accumulation, allowing a unified representation of the head–discharge relationship.
The data show that, for equivalent Pe values, the relationship between head (h) and discharge (Q) remains consistent across different geometric configurations, supporting the use of Pe as a scaling parameter.
The dataset contains processed experimental values that can be used to reproduce the analysis, evaluate discharge coefficients, and support further hydraulic or numerical modeling of sediment-affected weirs.
All variables are expressed in SI units.
