The genomic data of Arthrospira platensis NCB002 belonging to the family Microcoleaceae were obtained using the Sequel platform. The draft genome of Arthrospira platensis NCB002 contains 6,864,973 bp with 44.3 mol% of G+C content. Detailed genomic analyses and comparative studies with other genomes of the strains belonging to the genus Arthrospira will give further information and insight into the metabolism of Arthrospira species.
