Psychophysics data of apparent motion and funnelling illusions by pressure

This dataset contains the raw data collected during psychophysical studies into the funnelling and apparent motion illusions and whether they can be evoked by pressure stimuli. The data was collected during two psychophysical studies in the lab where participants wore a McKibben sleeve that was able to present pressure stimuli simultaneously or consecutively. Participants wore noise-canceling headphones and a barrier prevented them from seeing their arm in the set-up. Participants indicated whether they felt one or two stimuli for the funneling experiment and the smoothness of the sensation in the apparent motion experiment. The participant data of the experiments was logged by hand in .xlsx files, the stimulus data was logged by Arduino.

本数据集收录了针对漏斗错觉（funneling illusion）与似动错觉（apparent motion illusion），以及压力刺激能否诱发这两类错觉的心理物理学研究采集的原始实验数据。本数据集的原始数据采集自两项实验室心理物理学研究，研究期间参与者佩戴了可同步或依次施加压力刺激的麦肯本套筒（McKibben sleeve）；参与者均佩戴降噪耳机，实验装置中设置了遮挡物以避免其看到自身手臂。针对漏斗错觉实验，参与者需报告自身感知到的刺激数量为单个还是两个；针对似动错觉实验，则需报告感知体验的流畅程度。实验的参与者数据由手工记录于.xlsx格式文件中，刺激数据则通过阿尔杜伊诺（Arduino）开发板完成记录。
