Gegen Qinlian decoction (GGQLD) is a classic traditional Chinese medicine formula chronicled in Shang Han Lun. It has been not only used to treat inflammation symptoms in metabolic disorders, but also protect renal function in China clinically. In this study, we propose a hypothesis that GGQLD could produce anti-inflammatory effects, and thus intervene and improve hyperuricemia (HUA) by a multitargets solution.
