The objectives of this study were to (1) investigate the effect of different minerals on the stability of different heat treatment temperatures biochar; (2) examine the effect of polyethylene as well as the coexistence of minerals and polyethylene on the stability of biochar; and (3) explore the biochemical mechanisms of carbon mineralization.
