We report the single cell sequencing data from subcutaneous adipose tissue CD29+ stromal cells (mesenchymal stem cells). Subcutaneous adipose tissue was collected from a mouse model of obesity and breast cancer anti-estrogen therapy. Lean and obese mice were ovariectomized, supplemented with estradiol, then maintained on estradiol, given tamoxifen, or estradiol was withdrawn for 7 weeks. Two to 3 mice per group (Low Fat or High Fat; E2, E2+Tamoxifen, E2 withdrawal) were used for tissue collection. Adipose was digested, stromal fraction was depleted of CD45+ and CD31+ cells, while CD29+ cells were retrieved by FACS. Approximately 10,000 cells per group of pooled samples (2-3 females pooled per diet and treatment group) were sequenced.
