This study followed for six months six non-HIV infected individuals initiating a three to four-month course of a rifamycin-based (four months rifampicin or three months rifapentine and isoniazid) treatment to treat latent tuberculosis infection (LTBI) to document the immediate effect of the drug on the gut microbiota.
